Sadec Twin Balcony Suite

The spacious Sadec Twin Balcony Suites are perfectly designed for entertaining, and offer a significantly larger living space. You’ll have plenty of room to relax in your suite at the end of a day’s sightseeing. These suites also feature a large Outside Balcony and indoor Panoramic Balcony.

Representing a meticulously planned progression in design, APT’s exclusive Deluxe Twin Balcony Suites offer guests 226 square feet of floor space and use of both a Panoramic Balcony and an Outside Balcony. Mekong Restaurant

For a delicious taste of local cuisine, all meals, including a Champagne Breakfast each day, are included during your Mekong River cruise. While each meal presents the chance to dine on exotic Asian fare, Western favourites are always available. An Executive Chef will oversee the kitchen in which each gourmet meal is prepared, while a Restaurant Manager is on hand to ensure attentive service in the Mekong Restaurant.

Decorative food is a big part of Vietnamese food culture. On board, enjoy a fruit-carving demonstration by one of the ship’s chefs, and learn the secrets of making the region’s famous delicacy – Vietnamese Spring Rolls. 

Traditional & Interactive Evening of Khmer Dance

Enjoy a traditional Khmer folk performance and listen to unique music that’s local to the Mekong Delta region. This evening is all about you getting involved – you can even join in the dance if you wish. During another interactive evening, your multi-talented crew will show off their performance skills. 

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside any of the ships. Smoking is only permitted on the Sun Deck. For the safety and comfort of all passengers on board, your cooperation in observing the no-smoking policy is greatly appreciated.

Dietary Requirements

Please advise your Travel Agent or call us directly to advise if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies prior to embarkation. In most cases, we will do our best to accommodate special dietary requests and food allergies, but with one exception: Kosher. This diet has specific rules regarding food and its preparation and the shipboard environment does have limitations that prevent us from being able to adequately cater to this dietary need. Please note, though we can provide options to accommodate food allergies and sensitivities, we cannot guarantee there will not be any cross-contamination.

Disabled Facilties

Reasonable efforts are made to accommodate the special needs of disabled cruise participants, but no responsibility will be undertaken for any denial of services by carriers, hotels, restaurants, or other independent suppliers. Tour buses are not equipped with wheelchair ramps and cabin doors are not wide enough to allow access by standard wheelchairs.

Wheelchairs and walkers cannot be carried on tour buses, due to space limitations. Wheelchair passengers should be aware of these limitations. For safety reasons, passengers in wheelchairs cannot be carried on ramps in ports where the ship is at anchor. We regret that we cannot provide individual assistance to a tour member for walking, getting on/off tour busses and other transportation vehicles, or other personal needs. A qualified travel companion must accompany travellers who need assistance.

Dress Code

Generally, smart casual is acceptable on most tours, however some tours may require/recommend per below:

  • Jacket and tie for Formal nights on board ocean cruising
  • Comfortable and light casual clothing for adventure/safari touring
  • Wet shoes for Kimberley Wilderness Adventure, Outback Wilderness Adventures
  • Comfortable footwear is recommended across all tours.

Some cultures observe specific dress requirements, such as head dress for women. Tour Directors will supply more information on tour on any of these requirements.

Butler and Laundry Service

Laundry service is included for guests in Cat. C, B, B+, A and Sadec suites. Two garments will be laundered per suite, per day.

Guests in Sadec Twin Balcony Suites will enjoy Silver Butler Service. Benefits include the laundering of two garments per day, shoe shining, booking of appointments, one spa treatment per person, per cruise and a fruit platter daily.

Guests in Owner’s Suites will enjoy Gold Butler Service. Benefits include a packing and unpacking service, the laundering and light pressing of four garments per day, shoe shining, booking of appointments, one spa treatment per person, per cruise, a bottle of Champagne, a fruit platter daily, pre-dinner canapes and tea & coffee service.

Medical Facilities

Europe: There are no medical facilities on board. However medical services can easily be called from shore if required.

Vietnam & Cambodia: We do not employ doctors or nurses on board the ships. In the event medical assistance is needed, appropriate medical facilities will be contacted. Note that response time can vary.

Africa: We do not employ doctors or nurses on board the Zambezi Queen. In the event medical assistance is needed, appropriate medical facilities will be contacted. Note that response time can vary.

Internet Access

Internet access may be available whilst travelling on your journey, however please ask your Sales consultant if this is applicable on your trip. Many hotels and cruise ships have this facility available, at times complimentary and other times at a cost. For passengers travelling to remote locations, there may be no internet facilities for a period of time.
