What’s Included?

From full board accommodation (excluding drinks) to on-board activities, including sports and wellness facilities, to evening entertainment, Costa Cruises includes everything you could wish for on holiday. Extra services (drinks, excursions, wellness treatments…) and service fees are not included.

Special Dietary Requirements

You can arrange for special diets when booking through your Travel Agent or by calling our Contact Centre. On every Costa ship you can request special menus to be served at the restaurant: gluten-free for people with celiac disease, hypoglycaemic for diabetics, or a specific menu for people with specific allergies or intolerances.

Disabled Facilities

To ensure people with disabilities have a wonderful cruise, all information regarding their specific needs must be provided at the time of booking. An accompanying person and own wheelchair are required: there are a limited number of wheelchairs on board our ships for emergencies and which are only approved for use on board. All our ships have a number of dedicated, fully-equipped cabins with no architectural barriers, priority embarkation and disembarkation and a dedicated lift for emergencies.

Dress Code

You are free to wear what you want on a cruise: the atmosphere is informal and casual. Garments must however be suitable for the environments, season, destination and occasion: more formal for the gala dinner, more comfortable and casual for day time and excursions. A jacket or shawl are always recommended.

For excursions on land, we recommend you wear casual clothing and comfortable shoes without heels. If the trip includes visits to religious sites, we recommend you wear appropriate clothing.

Smoking Policy

Smoking – cigarettes, cigars and pipes – is forbidden in all public areas of the ship except the areas marked as “Cigar Lounge”. Electronic cigarettes may only be used in the cabins and in the areas marked as “Cigar Lounge”. In some public areas, smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor Smoking Points equipped with ashtrays. Smoking is not allowed in cabins but is permitted outdoors on private balconies. In order to avoid a fire hazard, it is very important to always extinguish and dispose of cigarettes in the appropriate ashtrays and never throw them from the ship when still alight.

Wifi &Internet Access

Every ship in the fleet offers 24-hour satellite Internet access. You can connect to the on-board Wi-Fi with your personal computer, iPad, iPhone, smartphone or using the PCs at the Internet Point. Instructions for gaining access and service costs are available once on board. You can access the Internet with a single device at a time, the cost of the service will be charged directly to your Costa account, you can choose between metered mode (pay per use) or use one of the several prepaid plans available. To access the PCs at the Internet Point, just swipe your Costa Card or follow the instructions to log in manually. Wi-Fi is available in the public areas of the ship and in all cabins. Babysitting Services

Children over 3 years of age who are already toilet-trained (do not require nappies) are welcome to take part in Miniclub activities during the day. Parents who want a free evening while cruising can drop off their children at the Miniclub, which provides a group babysitting service from 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. if booked a day in advance.

Laundry Service

All Costa ships provide a fast laundry, dry cleaning and ironing service for an extra charge. Each cabin is equipped with laundry bags and a laundry price list. In the “Customise -> Celebrations and Surprises” section of MyCosta, you can book the conveniently priced “MAGIC LAUNDRY SERVICE”, a convenient service to enjoy during the last days of your cruise.

Gratuities: Guests will be charged a daily service fee for all hotel services on board. Payment will be required at the end of the cruise based on the number of days of service actually received.
